Shipping & returns

Delivery timeframes

  • From the date of ordering, it will take between 14 and 21 days for your blinds or curtains to be delivered to your door.
  • If a delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside of The Blinds Company's control, we'll do our best to keep you informed. If your address is hard to find, or you live in a remote area, please include as much detailed information as you can in the special instructions section. This will help reduce any possible delays.

Postage costs

  • The Blinds Company offers free delivery on all orders to anywhere in Australia, regardless of the size of the order. We work with a number of shipping companies, which are determined by distance to customer and nature of product.

Order tracking protocol

  • We will send you an email once your order has been despatched from our depot, this will include tracking information so that you can monitor the expected delivery date. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange for you to be contacted by phone or email prior to delivery.

Area shipping can cover

  • The Blinds Company ships Australia wide, regardless of order size.

How the order will be shipped

  • We work with a number of shipping companies, which are determined by distance to customer and nature of product.

Where we can deliver to

  • Be sure when you're nominating the delivery address for your blinds or curtains. The Blinds Company will only deliver to the address stated on your order, and this address can't be changed. Note that we cannot delivery to a PO Box.

What happens if I’m not home

  • By default our carriers have authority to leave your products in a safe place at your premises. If it is deemed inappropriate to leave the packages unattended, our carriers will leave a calling card which will include the consignment note number and a contact number or instructions on how to collect your package.
  • If an uncollected delivery is returned to The Blinds Company, we will not pay additional delivery costs. The Blinds Company will contact you to arrange payment for re-delivery.

Parcel damage

  • Please be sure to inspect your blinds as soon as you receive them and contact us immediately if there is any damage. We can arrange repairs or replacements for you at no charge. In most cases simple photographic evidence will be required.

Returns policy

  • In the event where there is a warranty issue or fault with your product, The Blinds Company will organise the return of the damaged or faulty product and you will incur no further costs (within the warranty period for the product). This excludes products that have been incorrectly measured, or if you have simply changed your mind or ordered the incorrect colour.

Cancellation policy

  • Production usually begins the next business day after an order has been placed. Therefore changes to an order or cancellations can only be made if The Blinds Company is contacted within 24 hours of the order being placed.
